The job ad explains the open role.

The careers page explains the workplace.

In my reviews, careers pages often repeat the same list of tasks, requirements and benefits.

That tells a professional more about the job, but barely anything about the practice.

A physiotherapist knows her tasks. A medical practice assistant knows what happens at reception. Before changing jobs, both want to know what a working day looks like with you.

Who makes time for onboarding on the first Monday? Is the appointment schedule reduced at the beginning? How early does the team know when it will be working?

Those answers belong on the careers page.

Show a real working day. Let employees describe how people work together. Make it clear how starting at your practice is organised.

Then the careers page gives people its own reason to take a closer look at your practice.

What can a professional learn on your careers page that is not already in the job ad?
