Translated from Rafael Hager’s German original. Images and videos remain in German.

A job ad must not be an idealised picture of the practice.

If working hours are barely predictable, I do not write ‘full flexibility’. If every decision goes to management, I do not call the role ‘highly autonomous’.

I would rather find the strength that holds up in daily work: perhaps good onboarding or professional freedom.

If it is not true, it does not go in the ad.

Which claim would you still stand behind with a new professional after three months?
